New Canaan , CT : Click Flick Entertainment, a new movie download service, is your gateway to the indie movie circuit, featuring some of the best independent films made around the world today.

Click Flick Entertainment (available online at http://www.clickflick.com ) offers movies that are free as well as those that are downloadable on a pay-per-view basis. Every movie is in the state-of-the-art DivX format, which can be played either on computers or on regular DVD players.

The DivX format allows for 1080i resolution as well as faster downloads; the movies can thus be burned onto DVDs or regular data CDs. The paid downloads begin at $3.99 each, and Click Flick Entertainment already has a database of 30 movies, with over 200 more expected by Fall.

The Click Flick web site is sorted by theme, and it also features a powerful search feature to sort through the database. The web site requires no registration or membership fees; users simply have to pay online, via a secure PayPal mechanism, when they download the films.
